Jerry Only and his brother Doyle formed the Christian metal band Kryst the Conqueror in 1987. Though, according to a very long Wikipedia entry on the band , they never officially released an album. According to James Greene Jr.'s "This Music Leaves Stains: The Complete Story of the Misfits," Jerry Only wanted their former drummer Arthur Googy to play the gig, but Glenn Danzig wasn't a fan of the idea and wanted Brian "Damage" Keats instead.
