It is so sandy and would be perfect in the summer. It stretches as far as the eye can see. It rivals Wasaga in Ontario. It was nice for a long stroll along. Even in the rain and storm, it was beautiful to see the crashing waves and to walk along it. A must see if you are in the Halifax area.

Just a 25 minute drive from downtown Halifax, Conrads Beach is a great spot to take off your shoes and walk in the sand. Located just a few minutes before Lawrencetown Beach, Conrads is one of the nicest sandy beaches around.

Conrad's, though lesser known, is a beautiful sandy beach just minutes from Dartmouth. Because it is sheltered, it has smaller waves than nearby Lawrencetown Beach.
