This is a highly desirable WWII J. P. Sauer and Son M30 Luftwaffe Survival Drilling. The M30 Drilling was standard Luftwaffe issue to bomber crews in North Africa and the Mediterranean Theater from 1941-43 that provided a high quality survival rifle in case of a forced landing. They are a three-barreled drilling/combination gun; double barrel.

The M30 Luftwaffe Drilling, in comparison to the other shotguns, has a higher range and longer one shot kill potential, being the only shotgun that can kill in one shot throughout its entire range (though this would require it to hit all 8 pellets at its longest range). SOLD - Rare Luftwaffe Drilling M30 - 1941. 7/18/19 - This is a beautiful, cased M30 Luftwaffe drilling, one of the finest you'll ever come across. The original finish is about 95% with excellent case hardening. The barrels/upper show minimal wear, but there is some thinning of the case hardening. The bores are excellent and shiny.
