The Assassin's Blade is made up of five prequel novellas, coming in at around 450 pages, and is a must for any Throne of Glass reader. It really made me understand Celaena much more and what drives her. I found it fascinating exploring her history in the capital city, Rifthold, her relationship with the King of the Assassin's, Arobynn Hamel.
