EZPZ plates and cups Not age-related I just realized today the ezpz mini bowl and mini cup totally stink like dishwasher soap. And I tried some of baby's food and it has a soapy taste. Apparently it's a common problem with silicone.. We switched back to Cascade for a bit second and we could taste the dishwasher soap on everything.

I use oxo which are not silicone they are some sort of plastic. They do suction. I'm not sure if you have tried them. I both hand wash them (I just use regular soap not scent free) and put them in the dish washer and never had a lingering scent. They don't seem to stain except with pasta sauce.

I have a silicone plate that I adored. It was our go to. But the constant smell and taste of soap I use it like once a week now if that. I tried all the tips.
