Back in the 1920's and 1930's, there were numerous candy bars whose names invoked a healthy meal. Chicken Dinner was probably one of the most well-known, and I suspect that Tom's "Full Dinner" was meant to ride on the popularity of this idea. The background design even evokes a tablecloth, I think. This is a later example of the Full Dinner, when milk chocolate had been replaced by a chocolate.
