Aug 2, 2017. A bad few day for the Minneapolis restaurant scene just got worse Tuesday, when it emerged that North Loop favorite Haute Dish has closed down. The news was first reported by Best of the Best MN, and the restaurant's Open Table listing has the eatery as being "permanently closed." It has since been confirmed by owner David Walters.

The food was wonderful, the cocktails were great and the vibe was excellent. This was one of favorite go-to spots in the Twin Cities. All the very best to everyone who worked there. We went to Haute Dish for my birthday a year ago. Food was great and the menu inventive. All of us (8 people) enjoyed every single dish.
