Found beside a lake of the same name, Playa Martiánez is the main beach serving the town of Puerto de la Cruz. There are restaurants and plenty of parking spots around, as well as a beautifully landscaped garden with waterfalls that draw filtered water from the ocean. The sand is black and volcanic, and the water deep enough to swim and surf.
