to make the Liebig you need a 50cm length of pipe, I'm using 22mm, and a couple of end caps, and some 15mm pipe. drill a 6mm hole in the center of each end cap and drill 2 holes in the side of the 22mm copper pipe about 1.5 inches down from the each end. solder the end caps on and 2 x 15mm pieces over the holes in the side.

take your 54mm to 15mm reducer and slot a 15mm piece of pipe in it (9cm in length) making sure to put on your flux, just solder it in place. now add a 15mm copper elbow, 90 degree, not forgetting your flux, and solder that in place. use the other 9cm length of 15mm copper pipe and solder in to the 90 degree elbow.

Step 1: Remove the tap valve. In order to attach a column to the top of the still you will need to remove the tap valve. This can be done by removing the retention ring that holds the valve in place, then turning the valve until the retaining tabs line up with the slots of the valve flange. I've included a good video that visually explains this.
