Tilia mongolica Harvest Gold is an exciting addition to the Barcham range, commonly known as a variety of Mongolian Linden, and is a cross between Tilia cordata and Tilia mongolica. This pretty hybrid was developed in Manitoba, Canada and has been available in limited supply until recent years.

This hybrid of Tilia cordata and Tilia mongolica was developed in Manitoba, Canada. It is hardier than Norlin linden and resistant to sunscald injury and leaf spot. Mongolian Linden Barcham Trees
Henry's lime (Tilia henryana) grows more slowly than other lindens, and it may take 10 years to reach 10 feet in height. This species bears large, sea-green leaves with serrated edges and silvery backsides, and its fragrant flowers form in clusters. Name: Henry's lime (Tilia henryana) USDA Hardiness Zones: 6-8.

The tree is the smallest species in the Linden family, and it may reach a height of 30 feet and 25 feet wide. The tree grows slower than other Lindens, and it has a unique exfoliating bark and has slightly smaller, three to five-lobed leaves. It is pyramidal to rounded in shape. Commercially, the Mongolian Linden may be hard to find in nurseries.

Harvest Gold Mongolian Linden will grow to be about 40 feet tall at maturity, with a spread of 30 feet. It has a low canopy with a typical clearance of 4 feet from the ground, and should not be planted underneath power lines.
