An easy 3-ingredient recipe, these walnut-stuffed Sugared Dates make for a simple dessert or delicious edible gift. Gluten-free, vegan. One of my favorite recipes from childhood, I grew up helping my mom make these walnut-stuffed sugared dates every holiday season. Dates on their own are a little magical sweet treat.

In a small saucepan, combine the dates, brown sugar and orange juice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 3-4 minutes or until thickened and dates are tender, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla. In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.
