401 Plinths. I know slate is probably the preferred choice sonically, but I just love the look of the 401 in a real wood plinth. This, to my eyes, is the most beautiful wooden plinth I've ever seen for a 401 - the fact that the deck is recessed into the plinth just makes it look so much classier, IMO, and is the sort of thing I will be aiming.

I bought three sheets which I had the store cut into pieces of 20"x25". The three sheets would yield a total of nine pieces, I would need five.
