We visited Homestead Farms in early October. They have a bumper crop of apples and we picked nearly 70 lbs of a number of varieties. In June, you'll leave with a bucketful of sour cherries, blackberries, raspberries, and a sunburn. In October, you'll be wheeling out a barrel of gourds, pumpkins of all.

Had a great experience at Homestead Farm picking apples and pumpkins! Came on a weekday morning and it was not crowded at all. There were lots of apples and pumpkins to pick! There is also a petting zoo for goats and chickens. The farmers market had lots of vegetables and decorative goards and corn. The workers were nice and helpful.
