Jock Sturges is an American photographer known for his large-format portraits of nude adolescents. His black-and-white prints capture subjects on nudist beaches in the United States and France. Much like Sally Mann, the controversial nature of his imagery has raised concerns from the public throughout his career.Despite this, Sturges has continued to photograph his subjects—often alongside.
