The most common culprit in these situations is a faulty kill switch. A simple means to test this would be to disconnect the kill switch wire from the CDI and try firing it up. If it makes spark (or better still, starts) then you know it's one of the machine's kill switches. Most Chinese ATVs have many of these unfortunately- A handlebar.

If you're battery isn't the problem, maybe something else in the electrical system is preventing the quad from starting. Time to check for spark. Is The ATV Getting Spark? When I would try to start it, it wouldn't do anything and the display would go blank. I tried crossing over the solenoid and it still wouldn't do anything, nothing at all. Today I was writing in it and hooked up a charger/jump box to see if that battery was dead. The charger read that it was completely charged.

2 posts · Joined 2014. #1 · Feb 19, 2014. I recently went out of a ride on my suzuki king quad 700, and while reverse it just quit and died.. Now i have no spark. I checked all the fuses, checked the coil, everything is good. Changed out the spark plug, still nothing. Changed the spark plug wire, notta. i pulled the code with the wire trick.
